3 NFL Future Props Worth Considering

Welcome to Gridiron Goal Post, where we will analyze and break down some of the best NFL bets worth considering. As the offseason begins to wind down, the anticipation for the start of the regular season is beginning to build. And what better way to get in on the action early than by placing a few futures bets? In this blog, we will look closely at three NFL props that I believe offer great value and have a good chance of hitting. Whether you're a seasoned bettor or just getting started, we've got you covered with our analysis and expert insights. So, let's dive in and explore these exciting NFL bets. While it is always best to find a sportsbook with the best value, we will base these bets on Draft Kings odds.

Eagles To Win NFC East

The Philadelphia Eagles had a tremendous draft this offseason. They picked up both DT Jalen Carter and LB Nolan Smith. These two players could make a significant impact on this Philly defense. With a now reinforced defensive line and linebacking corps, the Eagles have the potential to win their division once again in 2023. A few weeks prior to this posting, the Eagles were at +115 odds to win the NFC East. As of now, the odds have dropped in value but only slightly.

With the newly updated odds sitting at +105, this is still a great opportunity. The only other team that could trouble the Eagles is the Dallas Cowboys (Currently at +175 to win the division). However, unless Dak Prescott can shape up this next season and outperform Jalen Hurts, we will likely see the Eagles run away with this one. Prescott was tied for most INTs in the league with 15. To make matters worse, he did that in just 12 games. For the Cowboys to win this division, the turnovers must be kept to a minimum.

Furthermore, The New York Giants and Washington Commanders are not expected to be much of a challenge in the division for the Super Bowl runner-ups. Despite some offseason moves to improve their rosters, the Giants and Commanders have a long way to go before they can compete with the Eagles in the NFC East. Although, it would be nice to see the underdogs take the division. The chances are looking slim.

At any rate, the Eagles have everything they need to make a run at the NFC East title in 2023. If they can stay healthy, develop their young players, and execute on both sides of the ball, there's no reason why they can't come out on top of the division once again. With their odds still at a reasonable value, now may be the perfect time to place a bet on the Eagles to win the NFC East.

Bengals To Win AFC North

The Bengals nearly had a shot at going to the Superbowl last year until DE Joseph Ossai got an unnecessary roughness call in the dying embers of the AFC championship game. Ossai caused the Bengals to give up 15 yards to the Chiefs with his late push to an already out-of-bounds Patrick Mahomes. This ultimately put Kansas City in field goal range giving their kicker Harrison Butker enough yardage to secure the 38-35 win.

Even though the Bengals lost last year, let’s not forget how strong they looked throughout the season. The Bengals finished 12-4 and won the AFC North despite WR Ja'Marr Chase missing four games due to a hairline hip fracture. While the AFC North is a tough division, the Bengals' offense could be one of the most explosive in the league.

If their defense can step up and make crucial stops when needed, the Bengals could very well win the AFC North. The current odds are at +130, and I fully expect the Bengals to clinch the division title yet again. If you are looking for a team with great value to bet on, the Bengals are definitely worth considering. With a strong and dynamic offense led by Burrow, who has great chemistry with his talented receivers, including Chase and Tee Higgins, the Bengals are a force to be reckoned with.

Buccaneers Over 6.5 Wins

With Tom Brady out of the picture, it is time for Tampa Bay to move on. During the offseason, they picked up Baker Mayfield and drafted DT Calijah Kancey as well as OT Cody Mauch. Currently, the Buccaneers are expected to go under 6.5 wins this season. While I don’t think Tampa will be a powerhouse by any means, they are underrated. They may not be underrated by much, but to say they can’t win at least seven games underestimates their talent and experience. While losing a player like Tom Brady is a huge blow, the Buccaneers still have plenty of other weapons.

Baker Mayfield has shown flashes of greatness in his career, and he has a talented group of receivers to throw to in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. With the release of Fournette in the backfield, it is now up to Rachaad White and Chase Edmunds to break off some big plays. While the NFC South is a tough division with the likes of the Saints and Panthers, the Buccaneers still have a good chance of winning more than six and a half games this season.

If you take the over, you are looking at +110 odds. Tampa should be able to beat the Falcons in their division and potentially split the series with both the Saints and Panthers. Tampa also plays Green Bay this season. With the loss of Aaron Rodgers, it is possible for them to win this game against Packers QB Jordan Love. Of course, there are always variables that can affect a team's success, such as injuries and unexpected changes in performance. Nevertheless, taking the over on the Buccaneers' win total could be a worthwhile bet with potentially profitable returns.
