Falcons Vs. Buccaneers

This NFC South NFL matchup could pave the way to a playoff spot later in the season. Tampa leads the division at 3-2, and Atlanta sits right behind them at 3-3. For the Bucs, this is their second division game. They secured a week four victory over the Saints by a margin of 26-9. As for the Falcons, they also won their sole division game over the 0-6 Panthers back in week one. The Falcons will travel to Raymond James Stadium to take on the Buccaneers this week. Last week, the Baker Mayfield-led offense suffered a defeat to the Detroit Lions. The Lions are 5-1 and have also beaten the Falcons. Both Tampa and Atlanta lost to Detroit by 20-6. This should be a pretty even matchup, and I predict it to be a close game. Regardless, I have Tampa Bay over Atlanta this week. Tampa has been terrific at stopping the run this season. The Falcons are a run-heavy team looking to get Bijan Robinson the ball as much as possible.

The Bucs will likely hone in on stopping the run once again this week, forcing ATL QB Desmond Ridder to throw the ball. Therefore, I like Falcons wide receiver Drake London to have a decent outing in fantasy football. The Buccaneers have allowed the 10th most fantasy points to wide receivers. Last week, Drake London amassed over 100 receiving yards to the Commanders. This positions London as a viable starting fantasy option in week 7. I would lower my expectations for both Rachaad White and Bijan Robinson this week, as both teams have been good at stopping the run. Obviously, you are still starting Bijan Robinson. He is too explosive not to. If you are starting White, you are hoping he gets tons of volume in the passing game and can get a goalline touchdown.

Raiders Vs. Bears.

This NFL matchup is plagued with injuries. The Bears are without Justin Fields, Khalil Herbert, and Roschon Johnson. As for the Raiders, they too may be without their starting QB, Jimmy G. This means some unfamiliar faces will likely be on the field to showcase their talent. One player I am interested in seeing is Tyson Bagent. Bagent went undrafted and would eventually sign with Chicago in May. Throughout the offseason, he showcased enough talent to secure the No. 2 QB spot behind Justin Fields. The time may have finally come when Tyson Bagent can step onto the big stage and show the world what he’s got. Backing him up at the running back position will likely be D’Onta Foreman. I expect him to get most of the workload this week, especially with Herbert and Johnson out. If you are hurting for a running back in your fantasy lineup due to injury or a bye week, I’d strongly consider firing up Foreman in your lineups. The Raiders have been notably bad at stopping the run this season, so expect the Bears to become more run-heavy this week, especially with an inexperienced QB at the helm.

On the other side of the ball, the Raiders will look to feed both Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers. As of late, Jakobi Meyers has looked like the number-one receiver on this Las Vegas Offense. Adams has had back-to-back bad fantasy football duds with less than ten PPR points in each of the last two games. This is not what fantasy managers or Adams want to see. Davante Adams has openly voiced his frustration, demanding to be more involved in the passing game, and as they say, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. I expect Adams to be more involved in this game and to bounce back in a major way. Jakobi Meyers and Josh Jacobs will also be fantasy-relevant in this NFL matchup. Josh Jacobs is a lineup lock as Jakobi Meyers is a solid flex play with WR 2 potential. I have the Raiders winning this one, even with their starting QB likely on the sidelines.

Dolphins Vs. Eagles

The Eagles vs. Miami Sunday night NFL matchup promises to be a high-scoring spectacle featuring a star-studded cast of offensive talents, including Tyreek Hill, AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, Raheem Mostert, D'Andre Swift, and Jaylen Waddle. All of which should be started in fantasy lineups. However, game dynamics might not align with these expectations, as each team brings a distinct strategy to the field. The Eagles are poised to control the game's tempo by focusing on long, methodical drives to keep the high-octane Miami offense off the field, relying on D'Andre Swift to keep the clock ticking. In contrast, the Dolphins plan to score early and consistently to dictate the game's pace, putting pressure on the Eagles to play catch-up. The outcome will hinge on which team can effectively execute their game plan, making this Sunday night NFL matchup a thrilling display of offensive and strategic prowess. I expect the Eagles to win at home, although it’s really too close to call. As for the quarterbacks in this game, I give Jalen Hurts the slight edge solely because of his rushing ability and goalline rushing attempts. Tua will have to make up for his lack of rushing ability through yards in the air. Those starting Tua should have no worries, as Philly has struggled to keep opposing wide receivers at bay, and Tua isn’t afraid to take deep shots and looks to air it out often to Hill and Waddle.
